That's very sad and unfortunate.

I wish him well on the next level.

Quite sad....

And my siblings and parents think I play quite a bit.... (My record is like 10 hours in a day, which I don't get close to almost ever.)

Alas, the perils of power leveling.

Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow,
creeps on at this petty pace
from day to day
until the last syllable of recorded time.
And all our yesterdays have lighted
fools the way to dusty death.
Out, out brief candle!
Life's but a walking shadow,
a poor play who struts and frets
his hour upon the stage,
and then is heard no more.
It is a tale told by an idiot,
full of sound and fury,
signifying nothing.

It just occurred to me that I don't have a life and am, therefore, immune to losing one. Game on!

How sad...

This reminds me of some MMORPG i used to play a lot (thankfully quit some time ago). This is a sad example of what happens when the 'addiction'/'need' to play constantly e.g. to level up. Maybe if more people thought about the consequences of what could happen by playing in this way, or what they would gain by doing this, they would be less likely to do a "marathon" of non-stop gaming.
