I have downloaded countless anti-spyware agents over the past few days to help with some resistant spyware problems. Now, my computer runs like a turtle.

Is there something I have on my computer that is making it do this?

An aside: I have already defragged and cleared the cache and temp files. I did that last night.

From just a luddite perspective on this log, I already see things I do not want on this computer.

Here is my HJT log (the log took over 3 minutes to finish):

Hi Dutch Girl,

I am SifuMike and I will be helping you.

Before we start, you need to realize that you are missing one important program on that computer: An antivirus.

This is somewhat suicidal in today's digital world.

You need to install an antivirus program as soon as you can and run a complete scan of the computer.

I recommend you download the free

Avast or
AntiVir or
AVG antivirus

Products from all three vendors received the Virus Bulletin's VB100% award and certification for virus detection from ICSA Labs.

Never install more than one antivirus scanner or firewall on your system! Several together can give you problems and decrease the reliability of it seriously!

I see that you are running msconfig in /auto mode which means that you may have selectively removed some items in the past from the startup procedure.

This can be bad if they are malware, so we would like you to reenable those startup entries by doing the following:
Please click on start, then run, and type msconfig and then press enter. When the window opens click on the startup tab and make sure there are checkmarks in every entry. Then press ok until you are out of the program.

If it asks to reboot, do not reboot. It is not necessary to reboot to get the items to show up in HijackThis.

Now please create a new Hijackthis Log and post it as a reply.
If I've saved you time & money,
please make a donation so I can keep helping people just like you! You can donate using a credit card and PayPal. Thank you!

Hi Dutch Girl,

Where is the antivirus I asked you to install?

You need to do that first, then run a Hijackthis log.

You need an antivirus installed and running to be safe on the Internet.

Hi Dutch Girl,

Many people do the same thing.
They think AVG antispyware is an for antivirus protection, and it is only for malware. You need to have AVG antivirus for viruses removal and AVG antispyware for spyware removal.

Hi Dutch Girl,

Please tell me about the crashing that you experiencing. When is it crashing it?
Are you getting any error messages? If so, what are they?

I do see that you have two firewall running. AVG firewall and Sunbelt Personal Firewall.

Never install more than one antivirus scanner or firewall on your system! Several together can give you problems and decrease the reliability of it seriously! It may cause lockups or crashing.

I recommend you uninstall one of the firewalls. Your choice as to which one to uninstall.

I see no malware in your Hijackthis log  , but let's look deeper.

Open HijackThis 2.0.2
Press the button 'View Misc Tools Section'
Press the button 'open uninstall manager'
Press the button 'save list'
A notepad file will open.
Post the content here in your reply.
Close HijackThis.

NOTE: If you have downloaded ComboFix previously please delete that version and download it again!

1. Download this file - combofix.exe to your Desktop.
Note:
It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop

2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
3. When finished, it shall produce a log for you, C:\ComboFix.txt. Post the ComboFix log and a fresh Hijackthis log in your next reply.
Do NOT post the ComboFix-quarantined-files.txt - unless I ask you to.

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall
