Stop:c000021a Error

Turned on the computer this morning and received a blue screen after typing in password. Message is:

Stop:c000021a fatal system error. The windows logon terminated unexpectedly with status of 0xc0000096

I have XP on now and Dell never sent a disc with XP. I do have Vista for my laptop. Can this be placed on the other computer and if so How since I can not get in at this time.

Do you have Roxio GoBack (included with Norton System Works) installed:

If so: MS KB316503

If not:

This can also be a symptom of a malware infection and you may have to reinstall Windows if you can't get into it. I'd suggest contacting Dell for the restore disks for your system.
