Hi...I'm a new member and just removed the looksky trojan from my computer but cannot do anything with my desktop display. It has been locked out or something and my (laptop) computer is running really slow. It only has a 10 gig hard drive so I really need to know what to get rid of or change on startup and run modes. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hello,

Sounds like you are still infected, or have some "leftovers". How did you remove Netsky?

cannot do anything with my desktop display

Are you referring to the appearance of the desktop? Can you launch programs and do other normal things?

Can you boot into Safe Mode? Try it and see. Here's a link to a tutorial explaining how to do that.

We really need more information in order to advise you.
