I have Windows XP. I am unable to install flash player. I have gone through all the troubleshooting provided on their site, uninstalled and re-installed flash, (it says flash player 9 installed, but when I go to a site which requires a flash player, I get the notice that adobe flash player is not installed. I have tried using the uninstaller that is available from the Adobe site. I have followed this link http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/view...4157&sliceId=2 which asked me to look in the registry, under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/permissions. The image they give is for XP Pro (and I have Home edition). On the advanced tab on the registry editor I have
Allow Everyone Full Permission <not inherited> this key only.
At the bottom the box that has "Inherit from parent the permission....." is checked. How do I get the other items that listed in the example from the link?
