Hi all:

Some time ago I changed from I.E. to Mozilla as my browser. I also installed broadband since that time. Now I need to view a video with I.E. but cannot get any site to load. I notice in Tools -> Intenet Options -> Connections that I.E. only has dial up settings - I presume this is the problem?. So how do I access the internet with I.E.??

Many thanks for all past help on this great forum.

Hi fbmurph,

Try this:
Go to Start/ Control Panel/ Network Connections.
Then right click on your default connection, usually Local Area Connection / left click on Properties.
Double-click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item and select the radio button that says: Obtain DNS servers Automatically.
Click Okay twice/ reboot your computer.
Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.

Hi TMack:

Should have posted that I am currently running Win. Me. So Nework Connections is not in the control panel and I don't want to mess with any other settings (though I feel like doing it!!)

Any further advice for me?/

Thanks again,
Frank
