Hi Exspider and welcome to Bleeping Computer!
I totally agree with the comments you made in
your post. I've been a member at other forums
but this is truly the best one. You won't find a
nicer group of people and our HJT team is the
best out there. Glad to have you with us.

Thanks for the welcome Texas Angel. I was fortunate enough to live and raise a son in Texas (12 years) and who cares if the wind blows all the time & you can see for miles & miles (Gruver,Tx) and all the trees point to Oklahoma, If you can find one. I made a good move by taking a job down there and at least the cowboys are real. In the end I ended up following my roots back to IL. My son now resides in Hawaii and still has the moral values instilled upon him from being raised in the Lone Star State.
I like Illinois, but I will never forget Texas, got quite a few snake rattles in a cup from that era.
Bleeping Computers will bite back also.

Don't poke a rattle snake with a short stick

Exspider,
So funny that you now live in Illinois. I'm from Indiana originally
myself. Born and raised in the NW portion of the state. Because
of the economy, my parents moved us all down to The Lone Star
State (near Dallas) and a few of us have been here ever since.
My parents divorced, remarried, and my father went back to
Illinois (Chicago) and my mother went to northern Michigan near
Traverse. My family is all divided but at least we all live between
Texas and Michigan, . I love the trip from here to there
because it's simple and we always arrange it so that we are in
Effingham in the mornings and stop at Cracker Barrel there. It's
become tradition. Anyway, welcome to Bleeping Computer.
Thanks for the little walk down memory lane, :flowers: .

You stop in Effingam you say? I work for Petco Petroleum which is like 20 miles away from there. I run the power generation plant for them. Is that not cool!
Thanks TX girl for the welcome. That's exactly what I would have expected from somebody from Texas.
 Viva La Texas and the Bleeping Computers.

I really like your GEARS, Exspider
Years ... I've spent most relying on gears
to some extent.
Automotive & Printing Presses both need 'em.

They look busy, and we are too, it seems.
Plenty of folks running windows are goin' have problems.
Once those are solved, well there is software to master.
Or write.

Onward I guess.
Glad you found bleepingcomputer.com :flowers:
patiently patrolling, plenty of persisant pests n' problems ...

Been a ďMech HeadĒ all my life fog, with a few electrons thrown in here & there also. Glad I got out of the automotive thing when I did. Iíve got me a little power plant to play with now. Still lots of mechanical stuff to do, but I do enjoy the process management & control aspect of the deal. After I get tired of that I can always come home & work on the complicated stuff; quite therapeutic actually. LOL Way to many wires sometimes.
Grinler sure keeps his gears turning doesnít he? This Web Site is chocked full of some really cool people. http://www.bartimus.net is on your side for sure.
Thanks for the reply phawgg. 1953 huh? Are we getting old or what?
