I am trying to disable this startup item on my computer. This is a Windows 98 OS

TkBellExe Registry -> Machine Run "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot

.Tried this...didn't work so this must be an old version.

To disable "tkbell.exe" in the new version (1) Start RealOne Player (2) Tools -> Preferences (3) Automatic services in the Categories pane (4) Uncheck all options and then OK

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks you

Jet :thumbsup:

Hi bravejet.

Am not overly sure about Win 98, but Spybot or Winpatrol both have startup controls.

You will find them here among all the other recommended freebies:

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
