I recently bought a d-link dir-655 wireless n gigabit router. I already have the motorola surfboard sb4200 and i use virgin media.
I am having a lot of trouble trying to set up my wireless connection.

My modem is usually connected using a usb port.
with the router as soon as a i plug my ethernet cable into my router, i lose my internet connection, so i can't even finish with the cd rom set up connection for my wireless.

can someone please help.
