This "forgotabouttroubles.com" website which contains a sample trojan (Web32agent-BCQ or something to that effect) keeps trying to gain access to my computer every time I log on to the internet, but fortunately my anti-virus program (Avast) keeps blocking it. Although my anti-virus program keeps blocking it, the pop-up alerts from my anti-virus program are extremely annoying. I've done spyware and virus scans but to no avail. If this is a result of some type of infection, how do I get rid of it once and for all?

If you haven't used the two programs below, give them a try. Please let us know the results of the scans.

Install Super Antispyware. Run it in safe mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Run the online scan for Bit Defender in normal mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.
