I have been watching a lot of online video. There have been problems closing programs and WOS. Is IntelMEM.exe a modem event monitor for Dial-up or for DSL broadband?

I believe it is for both. It does come bundled with DSL software so I assume it is for DSL lines as well. You can always disable it via msconfig and see if it causes and issues. If it does, just reenable it.
