That is a commendable attitude. Fortunately, there are many sources for definitions on the Internet. Bartlesby, for example, has several searchable dictionaries and a thesaurus, and Wikipedia has definition entries (usually with links for further exploration). One can also use Google to find not only definitions but also articles of various lengths about a subject.

If you are interested in the sometimes confusing computer terminology, you can find informatiion here at BC in the Tutorial Section, and many technical words are discussed in the BC Glossary. Both of these are tabbed above this page.
