i think i solved the problem,

the mouse pointer type selected was "Windows Standard" - i changed it to another one and it doesn't do it now...thank goodness, i didn't want something to be wrong....

this maybe useful for anyone having the problem anyway...

Hey, Izzy, I am glad I am not alone.

I am a programmer and noticed mouse shape problems in one of my code first, in Windows XP. Firstly thought it is my bug, then noticed the same problem in other programs as well. Later tried Vista, the same issue (although in Aero it is less visible).

Mouse flickers and the change of its image lags...

As it has seemed unlikely that I am the only one G965 user in the world that has noticed this issue, I have started to think I have rare HW problem and sent my notebook to service... aparently, stupid idea - later I have found that the same issue is visible on any notebook with G965.

Means this is most likely driver problem. I will try to make a small utility to demonstrate the issue and try to find a way how to contact Intel about this...

Hello all.

1st post here from me....

.."I" have a similar yet DIFFERENT problem

suspect software, yet considering "virus".

Issue is:
CURSOR~ periodically takes off on it's own.. traveling into the void. THEN various windows open up, flickering the whole time.

TO STOP it I have to HOLD DOWN RIGHT CLICK..

** problem(s) are that sometimes app's close or corrupt (because of clicking to stop actions). also losing emails while being composed.

"Seemed" to start about the time I installed TRACKMAN Marble+ mouse and software. I've updated avail drivers and software for it.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Dell Dimension 4700 Pent 4
Win XP~Home sp2
all updates
TrackMan marble (about 7 yrs old... but Great action).
w/ cord (NOT SB-2)
wireless keyboard (dell supplied).
AVG, spybot, adaware, Spywareblaster

Thanks in advance, RH
