Hello jetdrvr and welcome to Bleeping Computer!
We are happy to have you with us. But please do
not think you are dumb. You have just as much to
offer as any of us do. We all tend to think we are
less smart but sit back and you'll see soon enough
that you know a few things and can provide input
that others can't. Feel free to browse and ask any
questions you may have.

I am sure that even just by lurking you have improved your computer knowledge here at BC. By now you should know that the people here, all of whom started off knowing next to nothing about computers, are friendly and understanding of what you might think is a "dumb" question. After all, it is dumber never to ask. Never hesitate to post any question you have here.
Welcome to BC!
Regards,
John

Thanks for the warm welcome. My first computer was an Osborne 1, but I've been too busy flying to really learn how these things work, other than basic concepts. Now that I'm retired, I'm on it a lot and will have need of your assistance, I believe.
