My monitors last friday began to blink on and off randomly. Kind of like when you refresh the screen. At the time the comp was working fine. I tried to restart... nothing, I tried to run a antivirus with symantec and AVG... a few minor tracking stuff, I cleared it and restarted. THe problem keeps getting worse. I went to safe mode and the screens are fine. So I don't think it is hardware. The power options are set right, so not that. Later in the day the computer begins to lock up. Now I can't do much in the computer past logging in with out it locking and the screens continue to blinkl. I also tried system restore to a week before I had the problem with no success. I can only work in safe mode now. What Next?

Overheating could be a possibility. Have you cleaned out the inside of the computer?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
