Hi, can anybody suggest why my Windows Media Player 11 won't work any more?
I keep getting the message 'cannot play this file' nine times out of ten, whereas everything worked fine before, and as far as I know I haven't altered my system or anything.
I tried re-installing WMP but the problem's still there.
I'm XP Home.
I did but the prob was still there, HOWEVER I then deleted all the files that wouldn't play, then re-loaded their addresses from floppy and it seems to have done the trick.. :)
The old files must have been corrupted I suppose..
Ah, but trial and errors only good until you get yourself into a hole and have to cart your PC to the shop and leave it with them to bail you out of trouble for the usual £15 fee, I'm used to it (sniffle).. ;)
