I have been trying to test out a variety of 30 day trials of virus and spyware, adware software. Each of them seems to find different things and all of the reviews you read point out different pros and cons. I'd like to ask you experts here what you think is the most comprehensive, least invasive and best value program out there that you recoommend for purchase.

If you are looking for a paid programs I would go with either:

Sunbelt-Software CounterSpy v2.5

Webroot Spy Sweeper 5.5

There are also some good free alternatives:

Spybot Search & Destroy
