Trying To Reinstall From Windows Cd And Format Stalls...

Desktop crashed. I'm trying to reinstall using windows CD and when I choose to format the system stalls.

Run a HDD utility from your manufacture to make sure the drive is ok. You can find them here Seagate/Maxtor, Western Digital, Hitachi.
