Hello,

I can't permanently remove W32.Rahack.H. Panda & Symantec find it & remove it. I reboot & get a clean scan, only to have it pop up a few hours later. I'm running Stinger right now, but I'm not hopeful.

Thanks in advance,

Edward

Hi edward935k3,

Sorry for the delay, this forum is very busy right now.

If you still need help, please update HijackThis to the latest version and run a fresh scan. The latest version is 2.02, you ran this scan with the 2.00 beta.

Please find and delete the Hijackthis.exe you already have installed. First check Add/Remove programs to see if you can remove it from there.

Save HJTInstall.exe to your Desktop.
Double click on the HJTInstall.exe icon to start the program.
By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis
After the final dialogue box it will launch HijackThis.

Click on the scan button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.
Save the log, and post me it in your next reply.

When you post the log, please do not attach it. Instead, select all the text, and copy and paste it into the body of your reply. This makes it easier to follow the topic.

Dave
