I'm retired. I don't have to go to work. The Dr can jump off a tall bridge.
Anyway, it's time for my mid-morning nap.

That's a rough schedule you have there, but I guess if someone has to pull this duty it may as well be you.

I forgot to note - my number was 8. I needed my morning nap after getting kicked that many times... Whoosh.

And it's coming close to my mid afternoon nap time now too.

It is a tough schedule - but someone has to do it.

Hey, KoanYorel -

I'm retired too!

Perhaps we could syncronize our nap schedules so one of us is napping at all times!

OK, JohnWho,

You want the even or odd hours... EST of course?

Odd that you would ask.

Even though some might find our plan odd, I believe it is an even-handed concept.

Oddly, I suspect you'll appreciate that there are an even number of ship's bells rung for both the even and odd hours.

Even so, I'll take the odd numbers.

Dang, you wake me up just after 8 bells and before the dog watch! The gall of such. Never wake a COB!

Sorry, but an odd number bell count is still rung in the USN.

One ringy dingy

//Edit: Rats, just re-read your post above - you are correct on the bell count for even/odd hours.
I'm gonna re-nap for a bit.
