Broadcom Wireless Card Internal Hp Ze4900 Question!

I bought a Broadcom IEEE 802.11b/g Internal Wireless card. but I dont know how to set it up. I have installed it into the Internal Wireless card slot. But I don't know the next steps. Any Input about how to make this Card work?

You still need the internal wireless antenna for the card here is HPs part http://h20141.www2.hp.com/hpparts/Part_Whe...eria=371788-001

My advice would be for you to have a trained certified laptop technician install the antenna assembly, as complete disassembly of the laptop is required.

I don't think they use antenna, I Repair desktops all the time. I just don't mess with hardware on laptops.

On the Circuit City thing, just get a refund of the remaining portion of the warranty.

I already tried that, They said they wont because my computer has a problem with the card slot. They just want my money and wont fix it. I'm going to be on CBS news next week. They already had the on camera interview with me.

Sounds like someone is running bulldookey past you. Go into a local store and tell a manager your problem, and he or she can get you the actual complaint line number.
