ive just installed a pioneer 112D dvd writer and i dont think my computer is picking it up as a writer. ive tried to burn a test cd with nero with no luck. so went into device manager and uninstalled it. Restarted PC and let windows install it again but still the same. Ive updated the firmware which went fine but still nothing.
Does anyone have any advice? Thanks in advance

I don't recall ever seeing a "recording" tab, but on Nero Express there should be a drop down box in the upper right hand corner for CD or DVD burning options. In Nero Burning ROM there should be an option for DVD-ROM ISO, DVD Copy, etc.
