I have a virus or something. I am not shure how I got it. When I start windows repeated "click" sounds are played when I do nothing and nod alerts me about it.
I tried blocking the cookies of the sites showed by nod both in Firefox and Explorer, restart , but it did not work.

NOD displays the following:
IMON http://sindako.info/down/d1003.exe Win32/TrojanDownloader.Agent.NQM trojan Connection terminated

thanks

Hi,

The forums are really busy, that explains why logs get behind. If you still need some help, please start with posting a new hijackthislog in this thread. Don't start with a new thread.
Then I'll take a look. :thumbsup:

Hi,

I have a question first.. Is your NOD32 still able to update? Because it suprises me that it doesn't detect and delete these SDBot variants you are dealing with..
Please let me know.. because this is important.

It's important you follow next steps in the right order without missing any step..

* Download SDFix and save it to your Desktop.

* Double click SDFix.exe and it will extract the files to %systemdrive%
(Drive that contains the Windows Directory, typically C:\SDFix)

* Reboot into Safe Mode`: ( without networking support !)
°To get into the Windows Safe Mode, restart your computer and, just before Windows starts to load, tap the F8 key a few times.
Choose Safe Mode from the menu that will appear and press Enter.
  • Open the extracted SDFix folder and double click RunThis.bat to start the script.
  • Type Y to begin the cleanup process.
  • It will remove any Trojan Services and Registry Entries that it finds then prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
  • Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
  • When the PC restarts the Fixtool will run again and complete the removal process then display Finished, press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
  • Once the desktop icons load the SDFix report will open on screen and also save into the SDFix folder as Report.txt
    (Report.txt will also be copied to Clipboard ready for posting back on the forum).
  • I don't need this log now, since there's another step you have to perform...
Then, back in normal mode..

* Download Combofix to your desktop.
In case you already used Combofix previously, please delete the version you are having and redownload it again, because Combofix is being updated everyday.
Doubleclick combofix.exe
Follow the prompts.
Don't click on the window while the fix is running, because that will cause your system to hang.

When finished and after reboot (in case it asks to reboot), combofix will open again to gather the necessary information for the log. This may take a bit. When done, Combofix will close and a log should open, combofix.txt.
Post the contents of this log in your next reply together with a new hijackthislog and the log from SDFix (report.txt present in the SDFix folder).
Do NOT post the ComboFix-quarantined-files.txt - unless I ask you to.

I guess your NOD32 is interfering here in order to download it. Only disabling NOD32 won't work. You also need to disable IMON and AMON. For NOD32 it's AMON that can be temporarily disabled by unticking the appropriate check-box in the AMON panel - same is for IMON.

Hi,

* Open notepad - don't use any other texteditor than notepad or the script will fail.
Copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into notepad:

File::
C:\WINDOWS\plick.exe
C:\WINDOWS\Zos.exe
C:\WINDOWS\Derty.exe
C:\WINDOWS\nod32.exe

Suspect::[8]
C:\WINDOWS\system32\segmfw21.dll
C:\WINDOWS\syniyen8.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Hh.exe

Registry::
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
"Antivir"=-
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run-]
"Serty"=-
"Ranvc"=-

Save this as txtfile CFScript

Then drag the CFScript into ComboFix.exe as you see in the screenshot below.

Posted Image

This will start ComboFix again.
* it will create a zipped file on your Desktop - [8]-Submit_Date_Time.zip
* another file will be present on your desktop: CF-Submit.htm which will open after you ran Combofix.
* Where it says: "Submit files for further analysis", click OK and a browser Window will open. There you'll see: "copy/paste filepath into the box & click OK". You'll find the filepath below, so copy and paste this in the above field and click OK.

After reboot, (in case it asks to reboot), post the contents of Combofix.txt in your next reply together with a new HijackThislog.

Hi,

I suggest you delete this file:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\Hh.exe

This is not the default hh.exe which is present in your C:\Windows - folder. It seems like a modified one.
Don't delete the hh.exe present in your Windows - folder, because that one is OK. Only delete the one present in the C:\Windows\system32- folder.

Then also delete the C:\Qoobox folder.

The rest looks clean again. How are things now?

I did as you said... deleted the files in safe mode of windows. Does the safe mode helps?

after a reboot and later a shut down and on again I checked if some anoing sounds were played at windows starting and nothing bad... bus as this problem was not constant (it only showed itself on some ocations) I will be more certain on Sunday if the problem was fixed.
So I will post on Sunday and say if everything keeps going on correctly.

Thanks !
