I am new to this site... However, glad to find someone who has the same problem I am having!

While trying to clean my laptop today with the suggested Adaware and Spybot my laptop shut down and now I cannot go online!!! I am using my desktop to go online.

For a few months now I have been trying to but I can't seem to get rid of the windows system32/clcr.exe trojan! It causes my computer to slow down, porn pop-ups, and all sorts of other wierd things! Today, I can't even run my computer in safe mode...

Please help me!

As you have had the malware on your computer for a long time, my best advice is to post a Hijack This log in the Hijack This Forum. Do Not post the log in this forum.

Since you are unable to access the net with the infected computer, using another computer download Hijack This from the link below to a flash drive or CD and install HJT on the infected computer. Before running HJT, find the HJT.exe file and change the name by right clicking on the file and choosing rename. Change the name to lastchancescan.com
