Many power supplies have a rocker switch near the power cord that will remove all power from the system. It is best to time this to a point where the BIOS is rebooting but Windows hasn't started loading yet. This will avoid damage happening to the XP installation. If your power supply doesn't have an on/off switch the smply pull the power cord out from the power supply.
yeah, that's what I've been doing for a week now but is there a way for me to fix that? Would you know where the problem is? I already flashed my BIOS, scanned for virus and spyware, and did a scan disk but all tests are negative and cam up clean. Dunno know what and where else to look?
