Dvd-r-disc's Not Working?

I bought this pack of DVD-R's,my DVD player says insert DVD-RW?
Can someone help,these should work?

Not enough information...what are you trying to do? Burn a video, a data disk, audio?????
What burning program?

Im trying to butrn a VDO,thats the tight DVD,matbe a bad bunch,two whole packs?
this is minus R,whats the difference? can I change my video to accept this? will it work on my computer?

Is your player designed to accept DVD-R's?
What burning software are you using?
Have you tried to use different brands of DVD's?
