Hi everyone,
Sorry to bug you all, but I've been told that you guys would know the solution to my problem.

My computer has taken it upon itself to do some bizarre things of late.

As I sit happily internetting away, all of a sudden the calculator program opens for no apparent reason. Equally strangely is the fact that the DVD drawer (slidey-in-and-out-thingy) opens of it's own accord on occasion.

Has anyone got any idea why this is happening?

I have AVG antivirus, and a Sunbelt Kerio firewall.

Regards

If it's an "enhanced" keyboard, I'd say it's a sticky calculator key. If it was just the CD drive, I'd say a dirty lens or uninstall/ reinstall the device. Together, you might want to visit the malware and HijackThis forums and get a clean bill of health

Edit..
But seriously, my calculator does the same thing on occasion, I have a wireless keyboard from Micro$oft. I figure it's just built in, is your keyboard wireless?

Yes it is. Might it just be a keyboard problem?

It might just be a keyboard issue - but it could also be a virus. Removing viruses is the very first step in troubleshooting a problem - this helps to set the system into a "stable" state so you can find the trouble more easily.
