I want to belive that I am not the only one with this problem: Turns out that when I install XP SP2 several soundcard's drivers like AC 97', SIS 7012 among others wont allow the sound card to start (Error 10:Device cannot start) even though im pretty sure they are the right drivers, and when I switch back to SP1 or no service pack at all the driver works fine and the soundcard starts correctly, is this really a SP2 issue? is there a solution for this?, I really need SP2.

thanks in advance.

Chances are that the drivers aren't SP2 compatible - so I'd suggest locating updated drivers that will work with SP2
