This router gives me so many intermittent problems...ARGH!!

So right now, I have our Windows Server 2003 box connected directly to the FVS router, and the connections on the server show that they are live. The connection on the server says the default gateway is 192.168.0.1, which is the IP I gave to the FVS. I tried typing that into my browser, but it times out. And when I try to ping 192.168.0.1 from the server, all the packets time out. Both link lights are on, the FVS router is on, no error lights or anything...but it just won't connect! I have quite a few custom settings set up on the FVS, so I'd rather no reset it, but if I have to, I will. Any suggestions here? I'm stumped!

Geez, this is rediculous. I finally got fed up and just used the reset button on the back. Turned it off, then back on, and suddenly, the server can connect to it and ping it again. Why in the world would it just all the sudden stop working and then work whenever I reset it?

I'm on my second FVS and have to say that they can get a bit finicky! I finally gave up on my old one not long ago and bought a new one because of similar problems.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
