ok maybe this belongs in networking, so i just want to say sorry if i put it in the wrong thread.

maybe some background info will help. I am using a linksys wrt54g. And my dad had it so that Linksys set ups the networking stuff instead of windows. If i plug my xbox 360 into the back of the router it works just fine. But my finace bought me a wirless adapter for the 360 so i wouldn't have to unplug it and take it upstairs every time i wanted to play on LIVE. I opened up some ports on the router and stuff but i still can't connect wirelessly. The only time i can connect with wireless adapter is if i turn the WEP key off.

Some other info is when i go to connect to it, it connects to the network but once it gets to the IP Adress test it fails.

What do i need to do. I feel like i tried everything other sites have told me. If you need anymore info, tell me.

thanks in advance
