AntiSpywareBot was previously listed by Malwarebytes.org as a rouge application in April 2007 but recently removed from their list. I found the following comment in a google search but the link confirms it has been removed:

Malwarebytes.org
Name: AntiSpywareBot Threat Level: Low Description: AntiSpywareBot is a rogue antispyware utility that uses false positives to lure the user into buying the ...
www.malwarebytes.org/database.php?id=323

It is still listed as a rogue here but they include a link back to Malwarebytes.org. And it is listed here along with a smorgasbord of other rogue applications.

I recommend that you use a program with a proven track record like those mentioned in BC's List of Virus & Malware Resources or one of the other Trustworthy Anti-Spyware Products.
