How To Reboot In Ms-dos Mode

My system has Windows XP Pro SP 2 I would like to know how to start my computer in MS-DOS MODE and if possible step by step instructions. Thanking everyone in advance.

Windows XP has a recovery console, which is similar to but not the same as DOS. You can also boot into Safe Mode with Command Prompt.

I get into DOS with a 98 boot disk. What are you wanting to do?
