i have my modem for three years now i got it when comccast came to my house to install the high speed internet
it goes out all the time but usually unplugging it and replugging it back in fixes that
but now no matter how many times i restart it the internet doesnt come back
ive noticed that the cable light is constantly blinking and it is supposed to be lit without blinking so my isp tells me
i just want to know what the problem could be i mean nothing seems to be wrong with the cable its plugged in tight and it looks fine
this has happened before but it came back in a couple of hours but it hasnt come back for a day and a half now
i just need to know if i should spend the money on a new modem or a tech guy or if there something i can do to fix it
any help is appreciated

Does this modem belong to you or your ISP? I would call you ISP and have them test it from their end.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

I just learned this yesterday you can log into a Motorola cable modem on IP add http://192.168.100.1/index.htm with the username Admin and the password motorola and you can check the status of the modem. Thanks USASMA
