My friend's (weird) husband put a James Bond Hacktool on their home network to spy on her. He says it is off now, but how can we find out if it really is off? She has Vista on her computer.

I guess this is beyond me, but I've never heard of a "James Bond Hacktool." Has she tried malware programs like Spybot & AdAwre to check?
