Just to alert you gmail I think is almost ready to go full time instead of beta. I checked my email and I now have 50 invites per account!

I have a unlimited supply of gmail invites! If any of you need any please just ask me on a pm or email me.

I have around 300 invites myself plus other friends who will give some away...

See you all around!

...and just a few months ago, you had to beg for an invitation!!!!!!
I suspect the search engine/browser war lead Google to open up it's Email servers to more users. Hats off to Google for forcing the whole Email storage issue!!!!!
Cheers,
John

I checked my email and I now have 50 invites per account!

Just on time.. I had two of them left.. :trumpet:
I don't mind that everybody got one.. That would teach Hotmail with their 2mb storage a lesson..
Strange thing is that Americans get 25 to 250mb..

i assume this means that you CAN have more than one account...as the invite (ty, ty, ty notorious!) says ONE. since i run 3 on comcast, i was a bit concerned! how do i go about opening a second one? do i need to get another invite?

Yes, you need another invite. Usually from a person other than you've received one
before. You'll probably also need to change the URL you have it sent to.
I had several refused because I tried the same ADR's.
(But I have several gmail accounts now also.)

I've a few also for anyone. PM me the e-mail to send the invite to.

I have 300 because I have several accounts and I get 50 per account it seems or maybe just on that one account? Do you not have 50 now?

I saw that I suddenly have 50 also but I didn't get those initial 6 invites til I used the account a bit. That may be the case with The Trip as well. I don't know otherwise.

PM me if you want an invite anyone...

I went over and looked at my gmail. I have 50 invites too. Under the GMAIL logo it still says Beta tho.

CGM3! lol Hey how do you get the notifier to work in gmail. I do have the updated version of Incredimail.. but everytime my Incredimail checks for mail it begins to download messages I have in there over and over. LMAO I left the puter the other night to do some things and when I came back I had about 200 messages in my Inbox in Incredimail. I archived the messages in gmail hoping that would work.. but it didn't. So finally I had to take the gmail account out of the Incredimail.

Do you mean that little thing that says when you have new mail in the gmail inbox?

I never tried the pop yet are you saying it downloads the same emails over and over?

Yes Cows dearest.. I am telling you that Incredimail keeps wanting to import about 76 messages from my gmail each time it automatically checks for mail. I am going to stick with the FireFox gmail notifier for the nonce.

Pandy, there should be some way to change how incrudimail handles Pop Email. Look around the options/settings for something that says, "do not leave mail on the server after downloading" or words to that effect.

John
