Well when i built my PC and installed Vista I savedspace for XP. Yesterday I went to go do that and the XP Installation didnt show the correct Partition. It showed an Unknown incorrect FAT partition. So i press F3 twice to get out and BAM Vista is gone. The Vista CD cant detect my installation, claiming my HD is only 10 Gigs with 1 gig left.

I tryed fixing it with the XP and Vista CDs and just dont know what to try next. Can someone please help me.

Well, it depends on what you've done, what order you've done it in, and how you executed the commands. I'd first suggest figuring out how your hard drive stands now - use a free, bootable utility from the manufacturer of your hard drive to do this. Once the structure of what goes where is established, then we can work on seeing if anything is recoverable.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Doesnt matter now... I decided that I would wipe the HD and reinstall Vista... I did that and installed and succesfully dualbooted XP. I decided that Linux which I had on there at one point must not have removed properly and when I went to make an XP partition it completely messed everything up.

Its all fine now so thanks anyway.
