Good morning everyone! Or good evening, or whatever, depending upon the time you are reading this!

I'm a single mom, who is not a whiz at computers, but am anxious to learn more about keeping my computer in good form. Not to take away from computer techs who are great at their jobs, but since I am a single mom, saving on expenses is of course a high priority, so here I am, seeking knowledge!. I am hoping to get to know some of you and I am truly grateful for all of the knowledgeable (sp?) people who are so kind to help others like me.

BTW, I'm sure it's not the first time anyone has said this, but I love the website name!

Hello anitabz247 and  to Bleeping Computer.

Be sure to check out the New User Orientation and the excellent Tutorials.

So, by the "Sunshine State" do you mean Florida, USA or Queensland, Australia?
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.

Hello anitabz247 and  to BC

Yes, what do you mean by the sunshine state?

Not being biased, but hope you mean QLD!

When it isn't raining, we have lots of sunshine here in Florida.

Could be anitabz247 is one of my neighbors?

I know you think you understand what you thought I said,
but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant!

Hi everyone! It's great to hear from y'all!!!

Please excuse my vagueness; I'm not very "continental" :flowers:

I did not realize there were any other locations known as "the sunshine state". I live in sunny old Florida, good old USA! But it's not been that sunny lately here in central Florida... kinda rainy!

Hey there anitabz247! The job of single mom is one of the most respectable and honorable professions in my book.
There are a ton of knowledgable people here who are interested in lending any help that they can. Most recommendations are based on the use of free software, also some advice makes use of tools that should already be included in the software products you already own, and of course all advice is free. :flowers: For help with virus's and malware from HijackThis specialists, you are invited to consider a donation, but this is not obligatory.
