Let me introduce myself. My name is Kevin, I live in a small town SW of Houston, TX. I am married with a 8yr old daughter and a 20 yrs old step-daughter. I'm somewhat computer literate, but more hardware orientated. I used to build and repair PC's back when the fastest home PC was a 486 dx (133MHz)
I enjoy tinkering and racing my cars, playing with our dogs and kids, and I am fortunate enough to love my job (although not always the people I have to work with!) I am an Electrical Technician at a Plastics Manuf.
I do have a problem currently with my PC, but will browse around the forums and do some searching before posting the problem.
My home PC is a HP pavilion 7955 with a Ge-Force FX 5200, XP SP2, NIS2004, TrendMicro, Ad-Aware, and Spyblaster. Laptop is a Hp Pavilion ze4500 with the same type software.
Thats about it for now except for this looks like a great site and hello to all!

Welcome to BC!
If you cannot find a solution to your computer problem, don't hesitate to post in the appropriate forum. There are lots of good people ready to help where they can, and I hope you will share your hardware knowledge with other members who have a problem.
