I was told to post a HijackThis log on this forum by Ex_Brit on the McAfee support forums.

Here's my post from there and the link to it:

http://forums.mcafeehelp.com/viewtopic.php...4eb8dae762dec91
Mcaffes' gone power hungry and is quarantining just about every single executable file on my computer. Mainly files that I use often: VB6, winamp, teamspeak, VB decompiler light, cheat engine 5.3, actual search and replace, PE explorer, mirc, steam, and more. (Those listed are just from my desktop.) This went on for about 2 days. And now I cannot go into the security center so I can restore these files. Another issue is that I can't scan any files, and I download alot of stuff, and before I open it I scan to make sure it is not infected, and I cannot do this anymore because it says a scan is already in progress, it has been like this for over 5 hours. I know that it is not scanning for: 1) If there was a scan in process my computer would be going slower, which it is not, 2) there are 2 mcaffe processes running, Mcshield.exe, and McaffeDataBackup.exe. When I try to go into the security center by pressing the desktop icon it goes to the first logo and then just goes away.

Computer info:
Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
Processor: IntelŪ PentiumŪ D CPU 2.80GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 1022MB RAM
Hard Drive: 154 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 256MB
Monitor: Plug and Play Monitor
Sound Card: SB X-Fi Audio [CCE0]
Speakers/Headphones:
Keyboard: USB Root Hub
Mouse: USB Root Hub
Mouse Surface:
Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp.050622-1524)

Any other info you need to help me solve this?

EDIT:
Mcaffes' now quarantined MSCONFIG, and CMD.exe.
I need help ASAP!

And here's my HijackThis log:
