Lost Personal File Folder

A friend of mine started her computer and a whole file was missing, she had NOT deleted it. She ran a search and could not find it. Then did a restore point and it is still not able to be found..would anyone know what the problem may be to have caused a file to completly disappear

Double check the recycle bin, just in case they accidentally deleted it. You might try searching again, using the advanced feature to "show hidden files" Worth a shot
