Hello

I followed the manual instructions under Forum topic98791 and had removed all viruses, the spyshredder, maladware, etc. However, when I log on, the SpyShredder screens still appear on the desktop.

Before I checked the beeping computer website to retrieve the instructions I had uninstalled Spyshredder via Control Panel, Remove Hardware/Software but then rebooted when prompted to do so. Could this have been the problem?

How do I remove, permanently, these screens.

Super Antispyware removes Smitfraud malware. You should also do an online scan with Bit Defender as you most likely have other malware that accompanies the Smitfraud malware.

Install Super Antispyware. Run it in safe mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

I don't know if you did anything wrong. This malware changes everyday and the programs used to remove it are always playing catchup to keep up with it. If one program want remove it today it might tomorrow after it is updated. In the case of Smitfraudfix, you update it by deleting from your computer and downloading a later revised version.
