Windows Xp Logon Loop

whenever i logon on to any user acct. windows logs me off,even adminstrator in safe mode.i"ve tried rebooting,recovery console and a few other things but nothing gets me back on the computer, i've seen a few articles that come close to helping but so far no luck. i have windows xp media center edition sp2. i am new to this site and any help would be great .

Hi sre742. You said you ran Recovery Console - does this mean that you have an XP Install disc/XP OEM disc/XP disc ? If so, you could try doing a Repair Install.
