Hello nanceb,

You have some nasty malware on your computer, so this will take several steps to eliminate it.

Please Download LSPFix from http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm and Run the Program.
Disconnect from the Internet and close all Internet Explorer Windows.
Check the "I know what I'm doing" Button and remove all traces of dolsp.dll and nothing else.
Reboot.

Submit a new hijackthis log to this thread.
If I've saved you time & money,
please make a donation so I can keep helping people just like you! You can donate using a credit card and PayPal. Thank you!

For some reason the LSPfix did not work, and I am not sure why unless you made an entry incorrectly or did not reboot.

Did you reboot after you ran LSPfix?

Lets try Spybot 1.3. Do not install the Teatimer option.

Please download, update and run
Spybot 1.3

Fix whatever it suggests.

If you need help running this tool, here is a helpful tutorial.

Then submit a Hijackthis log.

Still no change in the O10s. :flowers:

Lets try LSPFix again. We have to fix those O10's before we can proceed. Perhaps you were not disconnected for the Internet or had an IE window open and that was the reason it did not work.

Here is a tutorial on using LSPfix. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/index.php?

Run the LSPfix Program.
Make sure you disconnect from the Internet and close all Internet Explorer Windows.
Check the "I know what I'm doing" Button and remove all traces of dolsp.dll, aklsp.dll'
and and nothing else. Make sure you have the dolsp.dll, aklsp.dll'
LSPs moved to the Remove section

Reboot.

Submit a new hijackthis log to this thread.

Removed the first LSPFix download. Downloaded again - this time I got the "finish"button. Looks like the 10s are gone this time. Here is the new HJT scan.

Hello nanceb,

You have the latest version of VX2 malware.

Download L2mfix from one of these two locations:

http://www.atribune.org/downloads/l2mfix.exe
http://www.downloads.subratam.org/l2mfix.exe

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe.
Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop.
Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter.
This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log.
Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!
If I've saved you time & money,
please make a donation so I can keep helping people just like you! You can donate using a credit card and PayPal. Thank you!

Hello nanceb,

Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.

From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter, then press any key to reboot your computer.
After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log.
Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!
If I've saved you time & money,
please make a donation so I can keep helping people just like you! You can donate using a credit card and PayPal. Thank you!
