Hello to everyone! I am here making a desperate attempt to regain control of my computer again. I am so frustrated and very confused. I am hoping that someone out there will be able to help me understand what I need to do to fix my computer! Thanks in advance to anyone who should offer a little advise!

The main thing now is not to panic, which can cause you to make mistakes that harm your poor computer even more. We have many experienced and knowledgeable Members who can help you not only fix the problems you have, but perhaps help prevent future ones.
Welcome to BC!

Thanks for the encouraging words! I was indeed in panic mode! I appreciate the help I have already received....I can actually read about things and comprehend without being interupted with a zillion pop-ups!!! Things are definitly looking up! This is such a wonderful place for a computer illeterate person like myself!

Thanks again!
Gina
