Can you tell me the full directory path where Premiere is installed? (For example: C:\Program Files\Adobe)

Try installing it to this directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe

The point is that when running Vista x64, 32-bit programs need to go in the Program Files (x86) folder... I think.

It doesn't matter if it's installed in the x86 directory or not, Vista 64 will recognize it as a 32-bit program. I've been doing some checking at the Adobe site, apparently Premiere Pro CS3 is not supported on Vista-64. Users may need to wait until CS4 or 5 for native 64-bit Premiere. However, some users have been able to get it to run. Success is hit or miss.
