Hard Drive Freezes Up

The hard drive freezes up so I did a big clean up job (2 gig) within 24 hrs it was full again and computer was only used for about 2 hrs. I run antivirus (AVG) it was clear,I also ran spybot also clear can anyone please help me.

I think you need to find out what's taking up the space on your hard drive. You could try searching for files by date to see what has been created recently. SequoiaView is a good program for finding out what's eating up your free space.
