its been runnin slow an di have a lot of bs on it so i want to wipe it all out. Problem is i dont have the original windows xp discs, though i bout it from dell so i have the product key and etc labeled on my comp. Could i get a disc and pop that in and would it work?
Dells are sold with a restore partition instead of the XP CD. If you use an XP disk you will wipe out the partition and you will also have to hunt down the drivers for your particular model Mark Dell restore You should be able to order installation disk from Dell fairly cheap
