Dear All,

We have two machines with certain drives shared between them, connected to the LAN for internet access via a common proxy server. The problem is that we are unable to attach files to an email (in any email, including the email client of our intranet, using both browsers IE and Firefox). The attach files dialog box appears, the file can be selected and the attachment begins...but it does not proceed beyond this point.

We have tried several spyware, malware removal tools...we have the Norton 2007 anti-virus on Windows XP SP2 Home Edition.

Any solutions, anybody?

I would gladly make myself for any other details.

Regards,
MFK.

Are you trying to use a locally based email client, or using webmail?
You mention 2 browsers - but what email client(s) is/are you really using?

Do you get any error messages at all?
