Hi. I have just scanned my system with X-Clean and it has detected the following files as being Gonna Search:

C:\Program Files\internet explorer\toolbar\toolbar.hta
C:\Program Files\internet explorer\toolbar\none.gif
C:\Program Files\internet explorer\toolbar\paint.GIF
C:\Program Files\internet explorer\toolbar\tbwallbw.ico
C:\Program Files\internet explorer\toolbar\tbwallpaper.ico
C:\Program Files\internet explorer\toolbar\toolbar.GIF
C:\Program Files\internet explorer\toolbar\twpicon.gif
C:\Program Files\internet explorer\toolbar\tbwallcr.ico

I'm not sure whether to trust this report. Can you offer any advice?

Where did you get X-Clean program from? I saw one program by that name that is used on Macs for cleaning, not antispyware.
Check your add/remove program and addons in IE for "Gonna Search". I suspect you want find anything.
You can also scan with this top of the line programs--Super Antispyware and Bit Defender

Install Super Antispyware. Run it in safe mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Run the online scan for Bit Defender in normal mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Did you mean X-Cleaner by X-Block?

Yes, I did mean X-Cleaner. Well I scanned in safe mode with SAS and it came up clean. I then scanned in normal mode with BitDefender and it detected 3 viruses which it promptly deleted. I also checked the addons in IE, and there were no Gonnasearch files in there.
OK, what do I do next?

I could not find anything on "Gonna Search". Since Bit Defender identified malware, I would suggest you post a Hijack This Log in the Hijack This Forum. DO NOT post the log in this forum. Directions in link below.
