Hi,

I want to delete a corrupted folder which ends with .exe. Windows not allowing me to rename, move, copy or delete this. The folder is generated after curing a virus. Is there any freeware available to remove such corrupted folder or file?

Best Regards,

Sreeram

There is a great little utility that I've used called Easy Delte, you can download it here.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

Have you tried doing this in safe mode?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

If still no succes in safe mode, try removing it using the 'DelinvFile' utility.
Go here.
Click on 'Download DelinvFile'.
Once installed, launch the program, navigate to the file/folder in question and try deleting it.

Also see "You cannot delete a file or a folder on an NTFS file system volume".
